Emerald Ash Borer Notice

As many of you know the Emerald Ash Borer has made its way into the Twin Cities of Minnesota. It did not travel here on its own, someone transported it into our area through firewood. It is no longer IF this bug travels here but WHEN it will get here.

Because of the large number of Ash Trees in our campground, it has been recommended to us by the MN Dept. of Agriculture that we BAN ALL FIREWOOD coming into our campground to protect our business. We know that this is a big step, but we need to protect our tres. So EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY we are no longer allowing ANY cut firewood into Schreier's on Shetek Campground INCLUDING wood bought from other places with the little DNR wood receipt. We are very serious about this new policy, so to avoid loosing your lease please follow this and all our policies.
