Campsite Features

Schreier's on Shetek has 115 campsites located on the shore of Lake Shetek. There are separate sites for weekenders and seasonal campers. The campsites can accomodate RV's, fifth wheels, travel trailers and pop-ups. At the present time we have 70 seasonal sites, 47 night/weekly/monthly sites, and 13 tent sites.Roads within the park are wide to allow easy access to campsites.

There are 62 back-in campsites, 40'-65' in length and graveled. Each site has sewer capabilities with overflow. Electricity is optional. All sites have convenient access to the new fish cleaning house, bath house, private showers and play areas.

A newly established campsite area has added many sites available for use. A large grassy field is conveniently located next to this new area. It's a great place for a pick-up game of football, softball, soccer, frisbee, croquet - whatever your family is up for. A large parking area is adjacent to the field for extra vehicle parking or for visitors to your campsite.

Rustic camping is available on Dollar Island. Campsites there are equipped with fire pits and picnic tables. Campers here have full access to all amenities in the campground.

If you're into birding, this is the place to be! With 86 acres of prairie seeded with wildflowers, butterflies, meadow birds, bluebirds and hummingbirds abound. Loons and bald eagles are seen as they migrate to and from their winter/summer areas. Raptors are numerous with the meadow and woods nearby and waterbirds from herons to kingfishers are seen. Bring your binoculars and hiking staff because you're in for a real treat.
